Inspiration
Thomas is a fan of aquaman and his childhood dream was to be just like him. Unfortunately, There is no current technology to talk to fish, so we have decided to settle for breathing underwater.
What it does
Currently it is a prototype air pump that is supposed to replace oxygen tank. Our goal was to make this pump submersible.
How we built it
The pump is made of an Arizona can, tubes, a motor, a balloon, and various small plastics and metals
Challenges we ran into
In our first prototype the can we used was too rough and would break the balloons and in our second the balloon we used was too thick and in the third the material we used as wheel was too flimsy to use.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Currently we are close to a working prototype
What we learned
We learned that for a project to come out extremely well there is a lot of trial and error as well as revisions that needs to be done.
What's next for Psidon
Hopefully we will continue to revise and test until Thomas's dream comes true
