Inspiration

-- Inspired by my grandfather's idea to put QR codes on buoys on lakes to measure how far they've drifted and where to place them back. Somehow through some intense brainstorming, we thought to put QR codes on everything and manage them on one simple website.

What it does

-- Web application to manage valuable items in the event you lose them. 'Finders' scan a QR code on said item, which notifies the 'Loser' and puts them in contact.

How we built it

-- Jack slaved away overnight on the backend of the project. The rest of us (Owen, Dante, Jaysen) all did our best to keep up, 3D print stuff, and create the frontend side of things.

Challenges we ran into

-- Learning ReactJS, Creating an entire backend API / Database from scratch, staying awake

Accomplishments that we're proud of

-- We completed it on time! It works! It's a very expandable idea but what we have right now is fully functional. You could sign up and print out QR codes right now!

What we learned

-- Learned and practiced our planning out skills, making great use of the (entire) whiteboard in the computer lab.

What's next for Us

-- Continue education and hopefully join more hackathons
