Pup Talk

Inspiration

Reading long texts can be boring... so we found a way to spice things up!

What it does

Change text into more engaging wording to make reading a bit more enjoyable and translate user written text into different tones.

How we built it

We used JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSON for the frontend, paired with OpenAI's API to alter the text.

Challenges we ran into

Learning to use the API and getting it to read the entire page instead of just parts of the text.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of our aesthetics, as well as integrating OpenAI's API.

What we learned

We learned that making Chrome extensions is definitely feasible!

What's next for Pup Talk

We hope to add more tones and integrate user prompts.
