Inspiration
You always want to share music with your friends, have playlists together, but you all have different tastes in music! With Qtify you can do collab playlists where everyone votes for their favorite songs.
What it does
You create a playlist, start searching for songs, propose them, and vote, it's that simple!
How we built it
We built it using React Native for the front-end and Express for the back-end. We decided to use React Native to make it multiplatform and not discriminate any friend!
Challenges we ran into
Authentication!! Web APIs are not really designed for React Native and using the SDK would require a bunch of boilerplate code, at the end we could do a workaround with the Web API.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Learning React Native and conquering the Spotify Web API!
