Inspiration The inspiration for Qx Lite came from the challenges that solo entrepreneurs face daily—managing inventory, finances, and customer interactions while also trying to grow their businesses. Seeing how AI can transform businesses, we wanted to create a tool that empowers these entrepreneurs with AI-driven insights, freeing them to focus more on their craft and less on administrative burdens.
What it does Qx Lite offers solo entrepreneurs a seamless inventory management system, financial tracking tools, and an AI chatbot that provides tailored business advice. This combination helps users maintain organized business operations and make informed decisions using real-time data and AI-powered recommendations.
How I built it Qx Lite was built using React Native for a smooth cross-platform experience on both iOS and Android. Firebase handles real-time databases and user authentication. For AI features, OpenAI or Gemini powers the chatbot, while Langchain integrates these AI capabilities with the mobile app. RevenueCat SDK manages subscription services, ensuring smooth in-app purchases.
Challenges I ran into One of the main challenges was integrating AI into the app in a way that felt personal and actionable for users. Creating a multimodal AI chatbot that provides detailed, business-specific insights required careful calibration of machine learning models and creating personalized user experiences. Ensuring cross-platform consistency across iOS and Android also posed technical challenges.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of I’m proud of how the AI chatbot turned out, especially with the ability to provide actionable insights for users. The intuitive interface, combined with the real-time data synchronization via Firebase, provides a user experience that is both simple and powerful. Additionally, the implementation of tailored onboarding based on the user's business type is a feature that greatly enhances user experience.
What I learned Throughout this project, I learned the importance of understanding the specific needs of the target audience. Building a solution that resonates with solo entrepreneurs required significant research into their daily operations. I also gained deeper insights into integrating AI services and creating seamless cross-platform applications using React Native.
What's next for Qx Lite Mobile The next steps for Qx Lite include expanding AI capabilities by integrating more predictive analytics for business growth, automating marketing tips, and exploring integration with more third-party services (e.g., payment gateways). Additionally, we plan to gather user feedback for continuous improvement and expand into new markets, targeting freelancers in various other industries.
