Quantum computers

Inspiration

The main inspiration behind quantum computers is that it can help us explore new possibilities of nature which are not known to human beings. I am fascinated by the fact that these computers compute the operations happening in nature.

What it does

Like ina normal computer you have 0 bit or 1bit but in a quantum computer, it has a dual nature just like light. so it has qubits that mean it has both 0 bit and 1 bit at the same time. So basically what the qubit does it divides itself into various other bits(0 & 1) so as to reach out to the destination as fast as possible. Briefly, these qubits go to superposition state and for example, a task which is done in 2n time now can be done in 2^n time by just splitting the qubits into 0s and 1s.

After watching some videos on quantum computing I was able to comprehend the topic and now I know a little bit about the functioning of a quantum computer.

What's next for Quantum computers

Quantum computers are being applied in the health sectors, AI &ML, Big data. Personally, I think that the quantum computer can be best used in the field of automobiles like cars.
