Quest Cache

Inspiration

Quest Cache was inspired by the thrill of geocaching, combined with the desire to create an interactive and competitive game that friends can enjoy together.

What it does

Quest Cache allows users to create, explore, and participate in geocache-inspired quests, with a competitive element through tournaments and real-time interactions.

How we built it

We developed the app using Node.js, React.js, typescript, mySQL, Apache, HTML, CSS, Google Maps API and VIT focusing on geolocation, multiplayer mechanics, and real-time synchronization.

Challenges we ran into

Real-time synchronization and geolocation integration were challenging, and we struggled to complete this on time.

What we learned

We gained valuable experience with different technology stacks and knowledge from each other.

What's next for Quest Cache

Future plans include expanding quest features, improving user experience, and adding more customizable tournament options. and also ensuring all features work.
