Inspiration
We were extremely frustrated whenever we try to learn a new subject but have to wait to the next day or the next week before we finally get to meet our teachers to ask for questions. This is especially true when we learn coding, as we run into problems constantly.
What it does
Post a question, get connected to a tutor and make the payment. The question can be any task under the sun, for example you can ask the tutor to give you a crash course on differentiation, or on python, or just ask him to explain an extremely difficult question for you.
How we built it
It was built using Ruby and Ruby on Rails. We chose Ruby on Rails over other frameworks such as React because the syntax of Ruby is extremely easy and it has a low learning curve. Many features of our application also has ready-made gems which made the development process easier.
Challenges we ran into
Deployment was an issue. Initially we wanted to deploy onto google cloud but encountered many issues. We finally learnt about Heroku which made it a lot easier.

What we learned
That preparing your body for 24 hours of coding is very important. Remember to sleep before a Hackathon.
What's next for Question Hero
We hope that we are able to implement the solution in the real world.
