Inspiration
We disliked the long wait at the financial aid office. So we decided to create an app that improved on this situation.
What it does
It shows a list of students who have queued up to go to the financial aid office. The financial aid personnel can select and drag the user that they is next in line to a "current column" and those who they're done seeing to a "completed" column. The app is supposed to connect to mobile devices to notify people as their turn is coming up, that way they're around and prepared.
How we built it
We mainly used express, Firebase authentication+databases and Objective-C.
Challenges we ran into
Division of tasks, cross-platform connection.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We attempted to create an interesting and useful app that would make things easier for both staff and students.
What we learned
We learned that working in a team is hard.
What's next for QUEUENY
We would like to continue to work on the app and improve upon the idea. It's worth exploring the possibility of what you can do with dragula.
