Inspiration

This idea was inspired by the concept of connected vehicles and the problem we faced to rent a car while we went for a vacation. We are frustrated with time-consuming checkouts and configuring apps like maps with smart display

What it does

  1. Renting a CAR- became smarter User Can download the Car rental App , register themselves and Choose a Model , Pay advance. On the day of Check out the Company sends the Vehicle Identification Number, License Pate number, and the QR CODE. The customer can directly walk to the vehicle area , scan the QR code, and take the vehicle out.

  2. Configuring the Car for Customer’s Use made easier As soon as the User gets the VIN (Vehicle identity number ) , he can make himself a secondary owner through the app, It will automatically connect to the Vehicle smart unit when the mobile is connected to the internet, and then he could see his profile , maps ad contacts

  3. Renting a Car is now a touchless process This does not involve customers walking to the outlet for check out. It is completely touchless check out

  4. Monitoring vehicles by the Rental Company is available through a Portal The Rental Car company can check the whereabouts of the vehicle and vehicle health data like miles covered in the Portal

  5. Customer trust and satisfaction More happy customers due to transparent payment

  1. hosting the website in azure
  2. connecting telemetry to IoT
  3. output to SQL

Accomplishments that we're proud of

1.The idea is in conception even in market and research is going on. we were able to think of an real time idea to benefit consumers and automotive sector 2.We are able to learn and implement IOT concepts and web application using microsoft azure
