R.E.D Scheme

Inspiration

My main inspiration for this project was my uncle, who used to be a traffic cop. He always complained about people who broke traffic laws.

What it does

It enables the government to monitor, and reward/punish drivers based on their behavior without human interference, to prevent corruption

How we built it

We took feedback from nearby traffic police constantly, so that we could further improve the quality of the application.

Challenges we ran into

Our project was cut short due to an issue with the hardware. However, after much hard work, we overcame this and managed to solve the problem.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We pitched this application to local government officials, who loved the idea.

What we learned

We learned that it wasn't easy to build an application of such importance, but it was fulfilling to see it completed.

What's next for R.E.D Scheme

We aim to pitch this idea to the Minister of State of Road Transport, who can hopefully help us implement this around the country.
