Inspiration
For shoppers like me, sometimes I have a very specific item or style in mind that I’m looking for and I would like to get it as quickly as possible without having to walk though the entire mall. One of my biggest struggles shopping in person is that I can’t compare items from different shops or mix and match items to create the perfect outfit.
What it does
Rack It let’s you choose a mix of items across hundreds of shops and prepares these items for you to try on at the mall. You’ll only pay and take home the pieces that you love. The mix of technologies allowed people to try out clothings in the fastest, most efficient way.

How we built it
RackIt has two components. An online platform for browsing and hardware security measure for the business transaction.
The online platform uses Vue.js as the frontend framework.
The hardware comprises of a Raspberry Pi and RFiD tag and sensor, as well as a servo.
Challenges we ran into
The team spent many hours on the ideation phase, and we ideated thinking about the end-to-end real-world business solutions that could be implemented with today's technology.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Feedback and validation for the idea was extremely positive. We are also proud of our ability to leverage the diverse skillsets of each member and build a solution within a short amount of time.
What we learned
We learned how to work with hardware, and create business ideas.
