RBRGS - Softtek

Inspiration

For the past years the supermarket experience has remained stagnant even though technology has advanced in several fields. Thus, we hope to improve customer and administrative experiences.

What it does

For admins

Provides useful information to better manage resources and come up with strategies that can boost their business and revenue.

For users

Improves experience, from making a shopping list, building recipe ideas, to going into the supermarket, where you can ask about the products or similar items, be guided to each product and go to the cashier with the least estimated waiting time.

How we built it

For this solution we implemented several state-of-the-art technologies, using computer vision and llms and provided a user interface through a progressive web app.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Integration of all components for a working demo, including admin dashboard, user dashboard and computer vision algorithms.

What we learned

We learned to use different tools and how to use them to build a solution. We also used some new technologies for the first time such as progressive web apps, openvino, and the use of a phone's orientation, location and camera for use in react.

What's next for RBRGS - Softtek

Enhance recommendation tools to improve user experience and develop native apps for both android and ios devices. Our final goal is for all supermarkets to use our technologies and revolutionize shopping experience.
