Inspiration

I've seen that several chatbots existed online and I've always wondered how they worked and this was a perfect opportunity.

What it does

The Catholic Priest Chatbot is an interactive web application that provides users with compassionate guidance and advice based on Catholic teachings, simulating the persona of a friendly and wise priest.

How we built it

I used Typescript, OpenAI and their API, HTML, CSS and Heroku for hosting

Challenges we ran into

I've had some issues with the OpenAI billing and learning TS and web development in general.
