Inspiration
Since the theme is promoting mental well being we decided to create a website for people to host and join book clubs to promote reading instead of doom scrolling everyday
What it does
Our website lets users connect with each other by hosting and joining various book clubs, exploring the magical world of books together
How we built it
We used MongoDB to store user information and bookclub information, our code mainly uses Javascript and some EJS to run. To style in such a short time frame we used bootstrap.

Short time frame was hard and we needed to keep adjusting the scope of our MVP

What's next for ReadTogether
Daily achievements to encourage users to keep reading, and to allow user store a collection of books that they have read. We also want to add a book API to get books and genres so they are dynamic and makes life easier, also we would like to create slots for author and book images when displaying books or bookclubs on our website.
