We were inspired to create a tool that gives realtors a superpower: the ability to understand buyers’ emotions and preferences in real-time, transforming showings into deeply personalized experiences.
What it does
Realty Wingman is a cutting-edge mobile app that revolutionizes the home-buying process. By leveraging real-time AI-powered emotion detection, eye-tracking, facial expression analysis, and voice tone recognition, it gives realtors a crystal-clear view of what potential buyers are truly feeling. As buyers explore a property, the app tracks where they’re looking, listens to their comments, and analyzes their tone, all while capturing video footage. At the end of each showing, realtors receive a comprehensive summary, including key highlights of buyer interest and areas of hesitation, enabling them to tailor their follow-ups and provide a hyper-personalized experience.
How we built it
Realty Wingman came to life through an intense collaboration of AI, computer vision, and mobile development. We harnessed advanced algorithms for emotion recognition and eye-tracking, integrated seamlessly with natural language processing for voice tone analysis. Our team used a robust cross-platform framework, ensuring a consistent user experience across devices. Every element was built with scalability and data privacy in mind—safeguarding sensitive data while delivering fast, insightful feedback. The result is an app that feels like having a data-driven assistant during every showing.
Challenges we ran into
One of our toughest challenges was accurately assessing eye-tracking data in a multi-camera setup. Synchronizing data from multiple angles and ensuring consistent accuracy in real-time was no small feat. We also faced significant hurdles in extracting emotions and facial expressions from compressed videos, as compression can obscure critical micro-expressions and subtle details.
