Inspiration

We wanted to create a game that encouraged people to step outside.

What it does

Promotes exploration, and rewards players with experience points by their actions.

How we built it

Using Googles Cloud Vision API, and Unity we are able to create a working prototype that resembles our overall idea.

Challenges we ran into

Using Google Cloud API for the first time proved to be difficult.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The app can take pictures and give you back a score depending on what you take pictures of.

What we learned

We learned how to utilize Google Cloud API, and how to integrate image recognition software to our game.

What's next for Real XP

We would love to continue exploring the endless possibilities for our game. One feature we hope to adopt is rewarding players for visiting national landmarks.
