Inspiration

Cooking up something delicious has never been easier! Introducing our AI-powered recipe recommendation engine that suggests mouth-watering meals based on the ingredients you have on hand. Say goodbye to the hassle of deciding what to make for dinner or waste of unused ingredients. Simply input your ingredients, and let our system do the rest. Impress your family and friends with your newfound culinary skills and never run out of meal ideas again!

How we built it

We used Edamam's API, an open-source API for the foodies, to fetch different recipes, their ingredients, and basic nutritional facts. we incorporated it into our backend to functionally generate correct recipes on the basis of the choice of user's ingredients. We also constructed an interactive and user-friendly interface using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Finally, we designed a logo for the application.

Challenges we ran into

Given our rudimentary skills in stack technology (backend/frontend) and the tight timeframe, We managed to tackle different technical difficulties such as the reception of multiple inputs from the user and fetching the appropriate recipes.
