Plagued by incredible amounts of e-waste around or house, we created this project to sustainably recycle and get rid of e-waste. Our trained AI model with a 20,000 photo library scans user images and returns a match of electronic device. Furthermore, the program returns a map with detailed directions to safely recycle the electronic device prioritizing practicality and functionality.
We used react native and Gemini to create an impressive scanning system. Through this project we learned the importance of dividing task into smaller chunks. Despite facing problems with server issues and backend implementation we eventually persevered and created a functional program
