TEAM NAME: Ladybugs

Inspiration

This Hackathon was during Valentines Day, so we wanted to make a Valentines themed project for this hackathon.

What it does

This is an AI-powered dating chat game where players interact with a charming but flawed virtual match and must quickly identify subtle emotional red flags, testing judgment, emotional intelligence, and awareness of unhealthy relationship patterns.

How we built it

We used React for the frontend and Python for the backend. We also used Loveable to help make the app.

Challenges we ran into

We had to discard a lot of ideas since we realized certain obstacles only when they were right in front of us. This was the only idea that stood.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of making it to the end.

What we learned

Since this was our first hackathon for 2/3 of us, we have learnt a lot about what its like to create something from scratch. There is so much to learn and this hackathon has changed our perspective to be a software engineer.
