In Ghana, traditional herbal remedies for hair care have been passed down through generations, but this ancestral wisdom is being lost as commercial products dominate the market. Our founder witnessed firsthand how family members struggled with hair loss and scalp issues despite trying countless chemical-laden products. The solution was growing in their backyard all along – natural herbs that Ghanaian grandmothers had used for centuries. How we built it

We approached Regrowx with a dual focus on product authenticity and technological innovation:

Formulation: We collaborated with local herbalists to document traditional recipes, then worked with cosmetic scientists to standardize and optimize these formulations while maintaining their natural integrity.
Technology Platform: Using React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS, we built a responsive web application that works seamlessly on mobile devices. The Supabase backend provides secure user authentication and data storage, while our custom AI algorithms analyze hair profiles and track progress.
Community Integration: We established relationships with local farmers for sustainable ingredient sourcing and partnered with hair salons for product testing and feedback.
