Rentme

What it does

The app connects people who are willing to rent their products and people who don't want to spend a lot of money on products that would just collect dust for most of the time

How we built it

We used Flutter for designing the frontend of the application and a variety of tools from Firebase for the backend of the application

Challenges we ran into

Performing CRUD operations from the Firebase Firestore Database was challenging as we come from an SQL background. Dealing with Null safety in the newer version of Flutter we used was a daunting task

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We were able to build a commercial application with a simple tech stack consisting of just Flutter and Firebase, and we find it to be amazing

What we learned

We learnt a lot about dealing with No SQL databases like Firebase Firestore, and were able to brush up our Flutter skills as we had to deal with Null Safety
