Inspiration
Both Benjamin and I have built B2C apps before, and we’ve seen firsthand how hard GTM is for early products. During our search for users, we realized that communities like Reddit, Facebook Groups, Instagram comments, and YouTube threads are massively underrated acquisition channels. They drive not only inbound growth but also improve SEO, GEO visibility, and long-term conversion.
What it does
Reson automates intelligent participation in online communities. It identifies relevant discussions and posts thoughtful, high-value comments that add to the conversation (never spam). It knows when to speak, when to stay silent, and how to naturally highlight a client’s product only when it makes sense.
How we built it
We combined natural language understanding with rule-based contextual filters to analyze posts and decide if, when, and how to respond. Our system automatically detects relevant groups and threads, crafts meaningful replies, and publishes them while respecting each platform’s compliance rules.
Challenges we ran into
The hardest part was finding the perfect balance between relevance, authenticity, and promotion. We needed to ensure comments were genuinely helpful, not salesy, and that our posts wouldn’t get flagged as spam. It’s a real tightrope walk between visibility and compliance.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We managed to fully automate high-quality comment generation and publication, something that feels human, useful, and platform-safe. Seeing it actually engage with communities and provide real value was a huge milestone. We already get many upvote/comments/dm in just 1 day!
What we learned
Not to sleep!!! And that's it's damn hard to creat such a platform, but we had amazing weekend.
What's next for Reson
We target our first public users within the next month. From there, we’ll refine the model with real engagement data, expand to new platforms, and build the go-to infrastructure for conversational growth marketing.
