Inspiration

We're always learning and with learning comes the importance of a strong profile, connection and so much more! we wished to build a platform that could empower every student on earth to never miss out on anything, and that was our inspiration. We built this platform for everyone to connect openly, share ideas openly, learn openly and so much more!

What it does

Home: This is the landing page, an organized space for a person to add their resumes, their projects and also submit them for review to get various opinions and step up their game!

Resume Analysis: A page analyzing the resume on various keywords, ats scores and much more!

Review: A resume review can help you find areas of your resume you can improve to help you stand out as a leading candidate for the positions you are applying for. Here comes the review feature to rescue! add your resume for review and get various opinions to improve it further!

Forum: A forum is a place to help other people learn, examine issues, share ideas, and listen to the ideas and points of view of others, and much more! A safe space to openly share ideas openly/anonymously!

Resume Builder: Our Resume Builder aims to assist various customers in quickly creating beautiful, well-written resumes. We can accomplish the same for you. Simply select a resume template, answer a few questions about your talents and experience, and begin. It only takes a few minutes to design a CV that you'll be happy to show recruiters and hiring managers, and it's completely free!

Project and Resume reviews: We can submit our project and resumes for reviews on the application. For project, we have to fill a simple form containing the project name, github link, project link and survey link (since a lot of projects require surveys for research). For resume, we need to upload our resume, our domain and other comments. As a user, we can also review other projects and resumes.

How we built it

We built it using Angular and Firebase.

Challenges we ran into

Implementing all the features in the given time constraint was one of the major challenges for us! Managing our time, the right way helped us a lot in successfully building the product. We faced a few issues while implementing the review part. It was an amazing learning experience for us overall!

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of overcoming our challenges and building the application in a span of 24 hours.

What we learned

We learned a lot of things including how to embed PDF in angular, work with firebase storage etc.

What's next for Resonnect

We wish to add a lot of features to the application. We need to implement Machine learning to enable the resume analyzer further for accurate results! We also need to enhance UI/UX for a better experience.
