Inspiration
We were inspired by the growing concern around retirement unpreparedness in Canada. With statistics showing that a significant percentage of Canadians have little to no retirement savings, we wanted to create a simple, accessible tool to help people take their first steps toward securing their financial future.
What it does
RetireMint Condition makes retirement planning easy. By entering a few basic details into a form, users can instantly generate a personalized retirement plan. Our AI-powered chatbot also allows users to ask questions, discuss their goals, and refine their plans — all without needing to hire a financial advisor.
How we built it
Using jsx for our ui we created an app that talks to gemini and to a database using mvc principles
Challenges we ran into
Auth0 caused major issues to our project, so we were forced to remove it
