Inspiration

Our team is comprised of avid music fans. We wanted a way of discovering unusual patterns in our friends listening histories.

What it does

Our web application lets you stay connected with friends and allows you to view and comment/react to our algorithm-generated humorous posts about new behavior in your friend's listening histories.

How we built it

We built a mockup using Figma and worked on implementation using Flask, SQLAlchemy, spotipy, and ReactJS.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into issues version control issues when using GitHub, especially when multiple people were editing the same files. Also, we ran into environmental issues in the beginning when trying to install the different dependencies and libraries needed for our project.
