The project was inspired by our love for Indonesian culture and traveling. On top of that, we were also inspired by the success story of the dating app, Tinder, which features a swiping process to find the perfect partner. But for us, it is for selecting the perfect travel destination in Indonesia for every budget in hopes of connecting people across Indonesia's rich culture. We learned that back-end programming is hard (I'm sure everybody can relate) and we realized that it will serve as the backbone of our product when we complete it. However, we strived to create a product with good cultural implications as well as a model to make the product sustainable in terms of capital. We built our project using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and we attempted to use MongoDB for our backend.
