Right2Rise is a Legal and Economic Empowerment Assistant

We are submitting to these categories:

  1. Ending discrimination against all women and girls everywhere

  2. Promoting economic empowerment & leadership for women and girls

We aim to develop a chatbot-driven platform that provides women with access to legal information regarding their rights while also offering resources for financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and career development. The assistant will utilize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to fetch relevant legal documents, case studies, articles, and videos. Users can ask specific questions and receive tailored responses related to both legal rights and economic opportunities.

AI Technologies

Combine LLMs for natural language understanding with RAG for dynamic content retrieval, creating a seamless experience that connects legal knowledge with economic empowerment resources.

Key Features

  • Legal Information Retrieval: Provide users with information about their legal rights, anti-discrimination laws, workplace rights, and resources for reporting harassment.
  • Economic Resources: Offer articles, videos, and tools focused on financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and job skills development.
  • Personalized Learning Paths: Generate tailored content based on user queries and preferences, integrating legal and economic resources.
  • Interactive Chatbot: An easy-to-use interface for users to ask questions and receive immediate assistance.

Sources for Documents and Database

  • Case Studies: Look for summaries of relevant court cases from organizations like the American Bar Association or legal research platforms. (USA-based)

Financial Literacy and Economic Empowerment Resources:

  • Government Resources: Websites like the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) provide guides on entrepreneurship and funding options for women.
  • Nonprofit Organizations: Organizations like the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) and the National Women’s Law Center often have educational resources and reports on women's economic empowerment.
  • Educational Platforms: Platforms like Coursera or edX offer courses on financial literacy that can be linked or referenced.

Research Articles and Reports:

  • Academic Journals: Use Google Scholar to find articles on gender equality, legal rights, and economic empowerment. Journals like the Journal of Gender Studies or the Journal of Business Research may be helpful.
  • Reports from NGOs: Organizations such as UN Women, the World Bank, and other NGOs often publish reports on women's rights and economic participation that can be referenced.

Online Learning Resources:

  • YouTube and Online Courses: Curate video content that focuses on legal rights and financial literacy, ensuring to include reputable sources and speakers.

Implementation Steps

  • Content Curation: Gather documents and resources from the above sources, ensuring they are reliable and up-to-date.
