Inspiration

I have been trying to improve my rizz game recently, and I have mastered the art of rizz. I want to help out my fellow discordians.

What it does

This is a discord bot that generates a pickup line once the user uses the command "!rizz".

How I built it

I used node.js, vscode, and installed discord.js to create a simple bot that generates random pickup lines. I used google to find some pickup lines, and some were inspired by Steven Packard. hype.

Challenges we ran into

It kept generating more than one pick up line each time I edited the code to add more pickup lines. I ended up resolving it by kicking out the bot and adding it back to the server. As a first time hackathon participant, I also had difficulty uploading to Github!

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Helping the nation of discordians with their rizz game!

What we learned

how to use Github, and learning how to install packages outside of a classroom setting!

What's next for rizzbot

rizzing up discordian user rizzgames. i plan to add a !reject command that offers witty ways to say no to someone you can't spend the rest of your life with!
