Inspiration
We wanted to build something that has the potential for real-world growth. The thrifting community has been on a rise in the country recently and we wish to capture this market while promoting sustainability.
What it does
ROBE is an e-commerce platform for old and used clothes. By selling or donating old clothes, users also get ROBE points which can be redeemed against future sustainable purchases on the platform.
How we built it
We prototyped our designs on Figma and tried to create the same as a web page using React and related frameworks
What we learned
We learned a lot about the effort that goes into creating web pages and functioning as a team.
What's next for ROBE
As a project that's still a work in progress, we hope to work further in its development to a possible future public release.
