Inspired by CookieClicker, our game invites players to engage with a captivating experience where they click on the Rose icon to accumulate more roses, the in-game currency. These roses, in turn, serve as a valuable resource that players can utilize to acquire various upgrades featured on the upgrade menu. As part of our creative process, we incorporated imported free-use assets sourced from online platforms, enhancing the overall visual appeal of the game. Additionally, to maintain a cohesive thematic presentation, we introduced the custom font "GlitchGoblin," aligning it with the RoseHack Theme.
In terms of accessibility and reach, players have the option to export their builds to both Android and iOS platforms, broadening the audience and ensuring a diverse gaming experience. It's worth noting that, while the game could have been developed using Javascript, our team was motivated by a genuine desire to delve into the realm of game development and explore the functionalities offered by Unity. This decision was driven by a passion for learning and a commitment to creating a unique and enjoyable gaming experience for our audience.
