Inspiration

RowRunner was inspired by a simple but universal problem experienced at live events, no one wants to miss the game to stand in long concession lines, and fans constantly have to make the decision between enjoying the game and getting a bite to eat, while stadiums are missing out on a huge revenue source due to some people rather starving than wait in line. Sports games, concerts, plays etc are some of the worlds greatest past times, for some people it’s an escape from daily life that they waited weeks and sometimes months for so if I can improve that experience for those people, I’d be more than happy. Just as ridesharing apps changed urban transportation, RowRunner has the potential to transform how fans access food and beverages at live events.

What it does

A mobile app that allows the user to order food from concessions all around their stadium, at any time of the game. It also allows a page for "dashers" aka the people who are delievering the product to the user, where they can view/deliver upcoming orders as they come and giving the user updates every stage of the process.

How we built it

Cursor,Claude and CodeX. Supabase & Expo stack

Challenges we ran into

At the Beginning, I had no idea what a terminal was, commands etc. For refrence I'm the definition of no expierence (Accounitng Major) Sometimes the (mobile app) Expo wouldn't connect to Cursor, so I had to run tunnel funtions Sometimes Cursor wouldn't connect to Supabase, so I had to run CodeX

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Made my first app, using a wesbite other than Loveable Made a Website built for anything ( I ran 50 possible scenarios on Claude given the PRD) Used unique differentiator, by making Cursor do market research competitiors in my field, and taking the best features from all of them. General confidence in my ability to understand code, even if I don't go on to have a techinal role in RowRunner.

What we learned

So much, basic terminal functions how to stack Supabase & Expo, how to use Cursor, how to run Expo Basic Coding Security Issues: How to hide API keys, etc

What's next for RowRunner

Getting user feedback, by going to sports events and surveying fans. We will be getting traction with evidence as we will be recording these surveys (hopefully of the fans saying yes to my idea). Also I'm working on growing to social media, which I just started today.
