Inspiration
Titanfall 2 movement mechanics and other movement based games in general.
What it does
Provides entertainment for the end user (it's a game).
How we built it
We used Unity, Visual Studio, Paint.net, and Audacity to help us create assets and compile our game. The Unity Asset store provided us with many assets that were used in the levels. Additionally, we used a 3rd party software (Engima Virtual Box) to properly build and package the game.
Challenges we ran into
Various unity bugs, game flow issues, UI design, lighting issues, and time issues. Code never works the first time.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
All the levels we have made so far, the expandability and versatility of the game (foundation). Furthest we've gotten in any project.
What we learned
Collaboration, teamwork, time management, level design, Unity framework, game flow, animations, problem solving, and UI design.
What's next for Runny Jon
We plan to complete the game as it is in a very unpolished and incomplete state right now. We hope to see it grow, with more features, levels, and reasons to play.
