  Superstore Sales Analysis in Tableau

Inspiration

I wanted to use Tableau in the business setting.

What it does

My dashboard analyzes the profit of Superstore by time, segment, and geolocation. This can be super useful for the Sales team!

How I built it

I download the public dataset from here. Tableau itself is pretty straightforward but I also find useful tips in this Tableau starter kit.

Challenges

The most difficult part was actually adjusting the size of the floating components and making them display enough information on the server once the dashboard published. I went back and forth republishing for a few times.

What I learned

I am very proud to present this aesthetically pleasing, dynamic dashboard. I've learned to use a global filter, which will allow the user to focus their attention to a specific region and reduce noises!
