Inspiration

The high demand for blood donations and the need to incentivize donors.

What it does

Sangté is an admin-facing system that enables hospital staff to reward blood donors with tokens, encouraging more people to donate.

How we built it

We used the Midnight blockchain to issue and transfer tokens securely. The backend is built with Express.js, while the frontend is developed using React. The Midnight Wallet SDK facilitates token transfers to either a Midnight Lace wallet or a headless wallet.

Challenges we faced

One of the biggest challenges was the lack of comprehensive documentation for the Midnight blockchain, making integration more difficult than expected.

Successfully implementing a semi-functional demo and a solid proof of concept (PoC).

Gaining hands-on experience with Midnight's Wallet SDK despite limited documentation.
