Inspiration

We noticed we never had incentives to save money, so we came up with our own

What it does

Save-A-Bull incentivizes student savings by working with campus businesses to provide rewards for students who spend less compared to their previous week.

How we built it

We built it using React Native, Google Gemini (Vision) API & Google Firebase

Challenges we ran into

Getting Google Vision to work by using unsupported libraries and correctly parse through the receipt to determine the needed values

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Getting data from a picture of the receipt to the database while keeping track of points earned and spent
