Inspiration

The physical agenda book that schools provide you aren't always the best for organizing your assignments so we wanted to create a better alternative.

What it does

It's an app that lets you input all your assignments and due dates and organizes it into a check list, in order of when the assignments are due, so the student can complete all their assignments in time.

How I built it

We built the program on Applab from code.org using javascript.

Challenges I ran into

It was difficult to create code that was able to compare multiple different values for the dates so that it could actually print in the correct order of due the soonest to due the furthest.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Creating a functional multi-screen app that is easy to understand and could be helpful for a variety of students.

What I learned

The value of persistence because there were times when we would get stuck and couldn't figure out our errors but being able to collaborate and bounce off ideas proved to be really helpful.

What's next for Schedule Nest

Expanding the app so that you're able to input more than 4 assignments at once and maybe adding a notification setting so that you get alerts to your device for the assignments.
