After a long commute to attend this year's Hackathon, I was inspired to develop a website that could connect me to students who can share the burden of a long commute, while reducing our carbon footprints. The website is a frontend-only service that lays out a format for a potential web app that can connect students. The website was built with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; additionally a lot of youtube and asking for help.

A big problem was the backend of the project as it was a daunting task when trying also to develop a frontend; additionally trying to learn two different parts of web development at the same time turned out to be very costly and almost ineffective.

A big accomplishment was being able to finish a website that has somewhat of a functional UI.

I learned more about the languages HTML and CSS; also while not implemented into this project, I did learn about APIs and their use and potential.

SeaWolf Shuttles' next milestone will be to establish a backend that can record user input.
