Inspiration
People suffer from two shortcomings that negatively impact their every day life: financial illiteracy and password vulnerability.
What it does
Secure Finance tackles both of these problems at once by helping users learn about financial consciousness while also keeping their passwords secure using an encrypted password manager.
How we built it
We were split between either a finance tracker and a password manager, so we decided to put them both into one.
Challenges we ran into
Given full creative responsibility allowed for us to overwhelm ourselves with too many ideas. Although this was fun, we took too long thinking about all the different possibilities which lost us a lot of time.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Merging two separately developed projects into one working project.
What we learned
Working on a team, this is the first time either of us had the opportunity to code with others.
What's next for Secure Finances
Linking Secure Finances to bank accounts would add for much more accurate tracking
