Inspiration With the proliferation of Covid-19 testing sites, we wanted to provide a way for people to spread awareness of where these sites and resources can be found. On a personal level, I get tested once a month and view it as my civic duty to assist in the fight against Covid-19. What we want to do is provide a way using Spark AR where users can share the results of their test and connect their audience with resources to get tested as well.

What it does Using See 19, users are able to place an AR filter on their image. They can then select what the status is of their latest test from "Covid-19 Positive", "Covid-19 Negative", and "Covid-19 Tested". If the user chooses the Positive filter, then their viewers can swipe up to be connected to resources on what to do if they've been in contact with this person If the user chooses the Negative or Tested filter, then their viewers can swipe up to be connected to testing sites near them.

How We Built It we used the Spark AR filter to be able to create this. For the graphics, we were able to create the graphics in Sketch

Challenges We Ran Into we wanted to try to add a face mask to the user but we didn't have the time to create the model and render it's movement onto the user

Accomplishments that we're proud of were proud of the fact that we were able to create something that's leveraging social media to connect people with locations that they can get tested

What I learned we learned how to use Spark AR for the first time as well as discover new friends during this hackathon.

What's next for See 19 next, we'd like to engineer a way for us to be able to verify the test result. This would require us to access the back-end of the user's medical records which requires HIPAA level security, but this would also prevent the spread of misinformation by verifying the result of a user's test result.
