Sharpie Rotator

Inspiration

My inspiration came from a rotating sorter for little pieces of plastic that show the color of each material.

What it does

It rotates Sharpies across a rising ramp, which changes the height of the Sharpies, like a merry-go-round.

How I built it

I used Fusion to design everything and Creality 3D printers to print the models.

Challenges I ran into

My bigger and faster printer broke, and the plastic was not being fed through

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I had tried new things that had looked nice and properly done in CAD.

What I learned

I learned new tactics for designing slopes in Fusion.

What's next for Sharpie Rotator

In the future, I would like to make it electric and detect colors for it to turn to.
