ShellHealth

Inspiration

We wanted to tackle the MiTRE Corporation’s challenge of Health Accessibility and Delivery as a project theme, so we designed a blockchain platform where doctors can issue prescriptions to patients that will remain securely stored in a distributed ledger. Our system used a basic blockchain structure and a “smart contract”-inspired ledger creation system, and goes along with a web page from which patients would be able to access their information with a friendly healthcare user interface page.

I worked on the front-end of the Shellhealth project attempting to make a sister website. It was my first time using html, CSS, and bootstrap. This experienced helped me narrow down my career goal on what I want to do.
