Want to qualify for free shipping, but hate the hassle of gathering orders from others to meet the required order cost? Let us manage setting up your group order, while you sit back and relax.

What it does

Shippie is an online web platform that allows users to create group orders together. Use Shippie to save on shipping fees with friends, family, or maybe strangers - or manage multiple orders on your favourite sites.

Users can create an account, login, join other's group orders or even manage their own! Add items by URL, setup your cart, and get ready for checkout.

How we built it

Front-end UI: HTML, CSS, JavaScript Back-end: Node.js, Express.js, Sleep Deprivation

Challenges we ran into

Organizing our giant data structure was a hassle. Merging front-end to back-end was also a mess.

  • we can't implement all of the features we want to in just a day :(

What's next for Shippie

We're excited to take our product to the next level. In the coming days, we're going to fully implement all of our features and host our site online.
