Inspiration
Due to the restrictive measures of the quarantine, I relied more on online shopping to get the items I need, however having I began having issues:
- Multiples tabs open and repeating the same search to compare prices and specs on different e-commerce sites became increasingly inconvenient.
- I would often find the item I had just purchased have its price drop significantly the next week.
- Monitoring the tracking numbers for all my packages was tedious as I would have to log in to each site.
What it does
The goal of the app is to funnel the search results of multiple e-commerce sites to simplify shopping, Save tracking numbers and display their current status, and save item publication links to monitor their price.
How we built it
Its built using the ionic framework using react and typescript, currently using apis from ship24 and ecommerce sites api like MercadoLibre.
Challenges we ran into
obtaining or registering for site apis for sites like amazon is tedious and sometimes unsuccessful. structuring a model where multiple e-commerce apis can be integrated is time-consuming and needs careful consideration.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I'm glad to lay a foundation from which we can further improve on, I would like to further develop this app into an actual everyday tool.

Planning to implement partner program shopping where users would receive a benefit from using the app to shop.
