Inspiration

Sometimes IT support department has a lot of phone calls for simple user questions or problems. We create a chatbot to help Sigma employees to solve simple problems without calling technical support.

What it does

Sigmassist is an app where the user asks a question and our bot checks possible solutions to their question. Shows the answer or in case the problem is not solved, Sigmassist shows the assistance phone number.

How we built it

We use IBM-Watson to create the conversational agent. We create an iOS, Android and web app that uses IBM frameworks to connect to our bot. Also we create an slack bot.

Challenges we ran into

Understand how Watson's nodes works to create a fluid conversational agent.

It's multiplatform and we think we found a way the project is easy to maintain.

Solves more common IT problems and to be more natural in its responses.
