Inspiration
After becoming enamored with sea otters during the opening ceremony, our team went on a quest to match everyone with the otter of their life! (And thinking of puns for the best domain name challenge)
What it does
Significant-Otter is a website in which you can easily thumbs up or down in order to sift through candidates for your love to find your one true otter.
How we built it
HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and the love in our hearts.
Challenges we ran into
Self-imposing the challenge of making a server-less website! (And choosing the best candidates to go on our site since there were so many cute nominees!)
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Completing our service by the end of Friday night!
What we learned
We learned how to think outside the box and cleverly pull random images of otters.
What's next for Significant-Otter
We hope to find more otterly adorable candidates for the site for everyone to be able to find their significant otter!
