Story Behind the Project
As a team of students from the University of Khartoum, currently living in different countries, we each had the chance to experience how efficient and organized public transportation can be outside of Sudan.
This experience made us realize the challenges people face when navigating transportation back home.
In Sudan, public transportation:
- Lacks a clear system and proper scheduling
- Has no digital visibility
- Cannot be integrated into services like Google Maps
- Suffers from no formal infrastructure or accessible route data
These challenges highlighted a digital gap:
If international services can’t help due to local limitations, why not build a solution tailored for Sudan?
Our Idea
We decided to build an application that:
- Helps users find transportation routes
- Makes navigating the city easier and faster
- Bridges the digital gap ignored by global platforms
This first version is just the beginning.
We have a clear vision to:
- Keep developing and enhancing the app
- Introduce new features for a smoother, more practical everyday experience
Our mission is simple: bring Sudanese public transportation into the digital era.
