Inspiration
Wheelchair users often struggle to find places easily accessible to them. Even when a place is technically meets ADA standards, which many places don't meet, there still may be barriers, such as dismissive staff, preventing wheelchair users from having a good experience.
What it does
The app uses crowd sourced and online information to provide ratings to users about how accessible a location is. Users can find places on a map (or by searching), leave and read reviews, and save locations they like to a collection.
How we built it
We used FlutterFlow to create a simple UI with all the basic features of our app.
Challenges we ran into
UI design was not intuitive to us so we often struggled to do even simple tasks like getting buttons to work or aligning text.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We created an appealing and functional UI in a short period of time.
