What it does
We have built a chrome extension which transcribes the captions and converts it into animations of indian sign language
How we built it
Researched how to make a chrome extension using HTML, CSS and JavaScript. We transcribed any video in real time using ChatGPT’s API to convert speech to text. Worked on the Graphic User Interface to make it more accessible and user friendly. We focused on resizing and being able to drag the popup, enhancing customisability. Integrated the animations with the corresponding transcribed caption and made it run real time.
Challenges we ran into
We were going to make an ai model to overcome the bias against women in job recruitments but realised that it was not doable for us. So we decided to work on this idea. We had challenges in integrating the animations and the transcribed text.
