Inspiration
As health care facilities are bogged down during this pandemic. We can screen out diseases or infections and provide patients with a easy solution to control the condition. Thus freeing up time for doctors to focus on serious conditions or the much needed down time.
What it does
skin-check will take a photo of an infected area of the skin and classify the condition the patient is facing. The provide a chat application with helpful resources to mitigate the condition. If the patient want a doctors opinion it also provides helpful resources.
How we built it
We used keras tensorflow lite to create a model which can classify between 15 different skin infections and runs on device. We also integrated google clouds Dialogflow which is a natural language understanding platform used to integrate conversational UI into apps.

The main challenges we faced were while creating a model that can run on device so can be used without an internet connection. It was also challenging to integrate Dialogflow for a seamless ex
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We integrated machine learning in the application to detect harmful skin conditions that could cause a problem if detected later in life
What we learned
We learned new skills like flutter and integration of machine learning in the flutter applications.
What's next for SkinCheck'
Consultancy services, more types of skin diseases to detect, partnership with various hospitals, and much more.
